"I had about 14 full days of actual building/glassing spread out over a couple of months to complete my two boards. The rib kit supplied was great, hard to beat CNC accuracy on the fit. I ended up using reclaimed southern Heart pine for my board. My wife's board was made out of walnut and mahogany. Overall the process was fun and it was so nice to work on a project that I can actually use! We took them down to the gulf right after I finished them with some friends and was shocked at how amazing these things are in the water. I have been on rentals and friends store bought boards but there is no comparison! The sound of the water hitting a hollow board was fantastic.
